They are created from bold, whimsical, hand painted originals and the patterns are designed to interest baby at different stages. At birth baby is fascinated by the detail of the black and white design and as baby grows older she points the animals out by name. The cards can be placed in your baby’s crib or turned into a fascinating mobile by hanging them. Later, you can read out the names of the animals and create stories for each animal, promoting imaginative thinking (for both you and your toddler!). Printed on sturdy board, these cards will stand up to baby's explorations. Each 13 x 18 cm card is beautifully finished with matte lamination and child-friendly rounded corners. We used the Wee Gallery Art Cards to stimulate our newborn and we were absolutely delighted when she started responding from an early age. As she has grown she has enjoyed playing with the cards, and we have even made stories for each card. We just loved the artistic element the cards have and you can even frame the cards for your baby’s room or create a mobile.
